ABV-IIITM organized two days training program on La-Tex.The language of Scirntific writing.
participants candidates provided accomodation facility in the institute for self only.The programme kit consists of course material,writing aids and meal during the program.


Objective of the course

LaTex is a document preparation system for highly quality typesetting. Though it includes features design for the production of technical and scientific documentation it can be used for almost any form of publishing LaTex is the de facto standard for the communication and publication of scientific documents.
The gnceplot is portable command-line driven graphing utility and support many types of plots in both 2D and 3D.It was originally visualize mathematical function and data interactively, but has grown to support many non-interactive uses such as web scripting.It has been supported and under active development.since 1986

The LaTex combination with Gnuplot is an ideal platform to produce scientific and engineering documents i.e research publication,monograms and thesis.It provides great features for layout quality,handling graphics and mathematics and other scientific features.

Scientific features which is almost unthinkable till now in word processor. Moreover it is mandatory scientific publishers.However the research community especially the student sum to be unaware of it.

This course is an attempt to provide an extensive training to produce scientific documents using LaTex and make 2D and 3D plots using gnuplot.Moreover tips for writing a quality technical paper will be an added advantage.
