Q.1. Your Intro ? (the first question for every IIITMite in so called intro :))
Abhishek:
Professional: A well-polished technology executive; an engineering graduate with MBA (Sys & Mkt), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), ITIL Foundation certified(v2), and BS7799 LA. Abhishek has more than 5 years of experience in the area of IT Advisory.

Abhishek has worked with CIO/CISO and helped them in operationalization of IT strategy via KPIs/KRAs for CIO/CISO Dashboard to manage various compliance factors.

IT Advisory project lead to SAP DR/BCP project for a large FMCG client.
Abhishek has assisted MNC clients in Vendor/Sourcing management.
Abhishek has executed projects in SAP Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) including analysis of Access control processes, Segregation of Duties (SoD) review, identifying conflicting transaction, advising client on approach for remediation.

Q. 2. Define IIITM in your word?
Abhishek:
A place where you are awarded for experiments and guts...

Q. 3.The most memorable moment @ IIITM ?
Abhishek:
When two police cops called us(Me & Prakash) at Hostel main gate...we were afraid and and started asking each other if we did somethings wrong in last one month.....Finally when we reached there we found they came to install room cooler in one of friends room who was not in town and keys were with us......Boss ..

Q. 4.Technology and Management in your words, how it become more special when it comes for IIITM ?
Abhishek:
Enabler and facilitator...Technology is for a while ..I mean once it is out dated it wont come back( exception FM) Management(Gyan) is evergreen.

A man is flying in a hot air balloon and realizes he is lost. He reduces height and spots a man down below. He lowers the balloon further and shouts, "Excuse me, can you tell me where I am?"

The man below says, "Yes, you're in a hot air balloon, hovering 30 feet above this field."

"You must work in Information Technology" says the balloonist.

"I do," replies the man. "How did you know?"

"Well," says the balloonist, "everything you have told me is technically correct, but it's no use to anyone."

The man below says "You must work in business management."

"I do," replies the balloonist, "but how did you know?"

"Well," says the man, "you don't know where you are, or where you're going, but you expect me to be able to help. You're in the same position you were before we met, but now it's my fault."

Q. 5.Your experience and strategy @ your work place: how did you develop your skills from null to pointer, please give us a biographical detail .

Learn Learn and Learn ...

How where and when....just Goolge....kasam se...

Q. 6. A message to your all juniors, (something you aspired most @ IIITM and want the same in your juniors) …
Abhishek:
Don't be stereotype...specially don't follow the crowd...this is from the bunch of CVs I received; every one is a champ in Credit risk ..equity analysis..and portfolio management....no one was focused or different....

My suggestion is to work harder on yourself than you do on your job.....

Q. 7. IIITM on lighter note: eg: IIITM is getting more greener with times, what do you think ???

Between two evils, I always pick the one I never tried before......
